The Pentair Pot Assembly (357243Z) is the OEM replacement pot assembly kit for the WhisperFlo VST and IntelliFlo series variable speed pumps, finished in Almond with NPT connections.

The 357243Z is a complete Pot Assembly Kit that includes the Almond Cam & Ramp plastic clamp, lid, O-ring, basket, volute, and drain plug knobs and O-rings (qty. 2 each). Refer to your pump’s exploded diagram to confirm all included items before ordering.

IMPORTANT: VERSION / DATE QUALIFIER APPLIES
For IntelliFlo i1 and i2 pumps, this kit applies to units manufactured after April 2016. For IntelliFlo VS+SVRS pumps, this kit applies to units manufactured after June 2016. Verify your pump’s manufacture date before ordering.

IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate the O-rings included in this kit with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.

The pot assembly forms the hydraulic wet end of the pump — housing the strainer basket, directing water flow into the volute, and channeling it to the impeller. A cracked, warped, or leaking pot assembly compromises prime, reduces flow efficiency, and can allow debris to bypass the basket and damage the impeller. Replacing the complete assembly restores the sealed hydraulic path and original flow characteristics of the pump.
