The Hayward Strainer Cover O-Ring (SPX5500H) is the OEM replacement sealing O-ring for the strainer cover on Hayward PowerFlo Matrix above-ground pumps.

This O-ring seats between the strainer cover and the pump body, maintaining a watertight seal at the strainer pot. A worn or damaged O-ring at this joint allows air ingestion and pressure loss, causing the pump to lose prime. Replacing it restores the airtight seal and allows the pump to maintain consistent flow.
