Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Mount on a straight section of 2 PVC or copper pipeavoid elbows or fittings near the meter for accurate readings.
- Drill a pitot-tube hole at the 12 oclock position (top of horizontal pipe) or appropriate mounting point for vertical runs; deburr hole edges before inserting the pitot tube.
- Use the provided stainless-steel clamps and gasket for a secure, leak-resistant install; tighten clamps incrementally and evenly.
- Install downstream of filters (after filtration) when possibledebris upstream can affect flow readings or damage the floating sensor.
- Periodically inspect the flowmeter for cracks or chemical wear, especially if exposed to high chlorine or saltwater systems.
