Description

The Pentair Air Bleed Assembly (24800-0120) is the OEM replacement air relief component for Pentair System:2 and System 3 Modular D.E. filters, including the PLD and PLDE series filter systems.

Compatibility with PLD Filter Systems (models 155331P, 155333P, PLD50) is confirmed for 2009 and beyond. If your filter was manufactured before 2009, verify the part number against your equipment’s service manual before ordering.

The air bleed assembly releases trapped air from the filter tank during startup and after backwashing, allowing the system to prime correctly and maintain consistent operating pressure. A failed or missing air bleed assembly can result in air locks, erratic pressure gauge readings, and reduced filtration performance.
